DJI @ NAB 2018: Force Pro & Master Wheels RC

NABShow 2018: DJI just launches two new Gimbal Remote controllers.

First of them is Master Wheels 3-Axis Remote Controller. Resembling a manual milling cutter or a metalworking lathe, The 3-Axis Remote controller’s master wheels give ultimate comfort and an amazing precision in gimbal control, during the filmmaking process.

DJI Master Wheels 3-Axis Remote Controller:

Cordless RF Long-Range Gimbal Control Unit,
3 Separate Wheel Control Modules, for the individual axis controlling,
A system is compatible with DJI Ronin 2 / S,
Unit Supports SBUS to connect with 3rd-Party Gimbals,
Work Distance: 1.8 Miles / 2.89km.
Latency Time: Up to 10 ms delay,
User Adjustable angle of insertion for every Master Wheel unit,
3-Stop Gimbal Direction Start/Stop / Toggle Switches,
Wired Connection is also supported, gives non-precedent flexibility,
2.4 and 5.8 GHz – Dual Band System,
Battery Lifespan: max 18 hours Operation in as Low as -4°F /-20°C

Master Wheels are realized as an upgrade option with all necessary fixings, screws and interface conductive pins, compatible with headers in main control Unit.

Тhe system provides significant freedom, about the angle of insertion every Master Wheel – manually adjust the angle between two control modules.

Basically, the Master Wheels has built-in super-high-resolution optical encoders. They create pulse sequence, exactly related to a differential / Delta angular movement of the maser wheel than last stop position.

DJI has also Dual Axis Variant and an additional option of a single Master wheel for an upgrade.
