  The Iconic 360 Degree Wireless Speakers By Bang & Olufsen

  Because of many similarities, We will describe two Acoustic devices simultaneously and their few differences will be underlined.

Body and Construction

  These two genius Audio devices are created from the monolithic Aluminium piece. After mechanical processing with CNC or milling machine and polishing their look and the “levitating” Jog-Dial resembles the thing comes from The Space.

  BeoSound 1 has Completly clean and futuristic art design with looks like “levitating” Control Wheel.

  BeoSound 2 has extra volume and grille cuts for needed extra acoustic freedom for back to back placed middles.

  The top of the speaker functions as a minimalist trended control panel:

  You can tap on the touch-sensitive surface, slide or turn the top part like a dial to adjust the audio system main volume.

Audio Design

360-Degree Acoustic Lens

•  1.5-inch Full range BeoSound 1 
•  0.75-inch Tweeter Beosound 2

  The Bang & Olufsen’s Acoustic Specialist are using their own special acoustic Lens using the optical principles to cover the 360 Degree homogenize horizontal sound spectrum. Especially, BeoSound 1 system is using the 1.5-inch full range speaker to perform the 360-degree full range sound covering.

  As a Separate part of full-range emitting, the BeoSound 2 Uses the “Acoustic lens” with a 0.75-inch tweeter.  

Woofer

• 4-inch for BeoSound 1
• 5.25-inch for BeoSound 2

  The Woofer Speaker is bottom mounted in the widest part of the cut cone. The cabinet uses the principle of the closed volume box.

Middle range 

• 2x 2-inch for BeoSound 2

  The Middle range speakers are available only in the bigger brother BeoSound 2. Two Drivers with 2-inches in a diameter.
