   iRig HD2 brings you a quite new level of functionality and flexible mobile playability with astonishing pro audio 24 bit/96 kHz – resolution/sample rate, 3.5 mm output jack as part of integrated headphone output with intuitive level control.

   This Output jack is not a regular headphone jack. When using iRig HD2 with the iDevice with the Lightning connector, this feature allows unlocking a new functionality based on high-resolution audio: 24-bit truly precise DSP processing with up to 96 kHz sampling frequency – the sound is as vivid as never before. 

  The “FX” means processed signal, and “Thru” option means the unprocessed and non-touched signal is sent directly to the output jack.
