SONY DSC-RX100V Camera internally uses a subsystem, taking 14MPixel {5028 x 2828} frames for upper video recording modes, which is 1.7 times over the standard 4K requirements.

After downscaling to 4K Res, the video definitely has more detailed and crisper frames. The quality is visually better than direct 4K taken videos by competitors.
