Atomos Shogun Inferno 2-in-1 Monitor & Recorder

   Atomos announced the newest 2-in-1 (they say ALL in One) Monitor and 4K Recorder – Shogun Inferno.

   It combinates in Its hardware many advanced monitor technologies – High Dynamic Range with 1500-nit (or 1500 cd on 1 sq m ) and the Color depth: 10-bits ( 8bit+2 FRC).

   It combinates also, the 4K 60P or the latest possible recording capability over 4-SDI and rich editing options and playback functionality.

   Atomos make possible to work and create mastering videos on high frame-rate with a high-resolution, keeps high-dynamic range workflows.

Recording at 60 frames- PProgressive, Resolution is 4K  
   Shogun Inferno brings a possibility of recording to High-Frame Rate and Professional 10-bit (but 8+2 FRC) DNXHR & 4:2:2 prores, needed to generate a post production.

Inferno can record in RAW Format over 4-SDI
   The 4-SDI connections allowing the camera to be compatible for example with : 1.5G, 3G, 6G ,12G SDI inputs and a convenient single 12G SDI output. This allows the filmmakers or operators to connect a single link from 4 variants:

1.) SD 1.5G,

2.) HD 3G,

3.) 4K 30p 6G and

4.) 4K 60p 12G.

The user can create any combination of 3G connections up to 4-SDI at 4K 60fps -progressive.

Non-stop Powering & Ultra-Quick Charging
   Inferno includes the patented continuous power system -its mean, a hot swappable dual-battery system which automatically swaps to the next/second battery when the first one’s power is too low.

   Atomos includes an Ultra-Quick Battery charger to ensure t the dual battery system support.

   Also, the “uninterruptable” power set including D-Tap to DC coiled cable, two 4-cell batteries.

INFERNO: XLR Audio
  The Atomos Shogun Inferno has multiple audio options:

• No needs for a separate audio recorder,
• Monitor up to 8ch of embedded HDMI audio,
• Up to 12ch of SDI audio 
• Use the included XLR breakout cable to connect to external microphones for analog audio with up to 48VDC phantom powering source.

   The Shogun Inferno is packed with an extensive suite of scopes
